Some Attractive Joomla Sites |

Historically, I've had trouble finding really attractive Joomla sites aside from those using professional templates from places like Rockettheme . Too many Joomla sites look like...Joomla sites. If you can tell it's joomla within a couple of seconds of loading the home page, chances are it's a pretty lame (full disclosure: this site is currently of my own design - which may change - and I don't have any illusions that it's particularly attractive or non-Joomla like).
I recently came across a couple of websites that showcase some Joomla sites that, for the most part, break out of the basic Joomla design mold, and show what can be done with a little creativity:
